Mike Eppich was walking towards school. On the way, he passed Jenny, Ali's best friend. At the thought of Ali, he felt butterflies go into his stomach. He pushed them away, hopping what he thought wasn't true. Sighing, he finally sat down on one of the benches, dropped his bag on the ground and put his hands behind his head.

Ali had made herself invisible and was sitting on a bench in the garden, where the Hedge was. She was reading a book and it was around five o' clock. Jenny and Frank were a little ways up the hedge more, and she could see them talking. She smiled invisibly, silently praying things went well for them. Then, Mike Eppich, the guy she sort of just met the other day and liked a lot sat down. She silently moved her feet off the 'empty' bench and sat in a regular sitting position. This was going to be good....
"Hey, Mike!" Ali said, tapping herself with her wand as she said that, becoming visible. She was wearing a pair of tight blue jeans, a blue Lacoste polo (blue with white stripes) and a pair of lack scuffed up converse. She also was wearing a light grey track jacket. "So, what's new, bud?" she asked, after he was done having a heart attack.

"Holy crap, Ali, are you trying to kill me?!" he shot angrily at her, once he recovered from his semi-heartache. "You know what, don't answer that." he saw that she was smiling and trying not to laugh. "Having fun?"

"What did I say about scaring people?! Go into your cage... now." he said sternly, but not stopping the smile come across his face. She looked cute in her outfit (((THAT JO TOOK FOREVER TO MAKE!)) and she was reading a book, which was hotter.

"I don't wanna go in the cage -- I mean fun box!" Then, Ali jumped up and ran around the bench screaming, "FUN BOX, FUN BOX, SMALL AND SQUARE AND DARK!" when she said small, shepinched her thumb and forefinger together. When she said square, she made a square with her hands and when she said dark, she covered her eyes. She came to the bench and sat back down in the same position. "I really need to get a life...."

"Yes, you do," he replied as he laughed along with her. She had a nice laugh, he thought. "What are you reading?" he asked, curious about what book she was reading. He might have just met her, but his heart was pounding as she replied.

"You're not supposed to agree! Go to your corner!" she yelled at him with fake anger. "Now!" she added. "I'm reading this really good Muggle novel... Pride and Prejudice. Ever heard of it?" she asked him, tapping the book so it soared to her room. She was really good at her magic, even though there weren't any Transfiguration or Charms classes here. No one in this school used her type of Magic. Curse her parents.
((first book that came into mind, and every person in Harry potter World reads that novel in every fanfiction i've read.....))

Mike watched the book soar back to room, and he couldn't help but realize how talented she was. "I don't wanna go to my corner!" he replied, shoving her slightly. "My corner is only for when I'm a bad boy! Anyways, yeah, I had to read that book for a class last year. It's pretty good."
((ok, you have to make it seem like Ali has as crush on him))

"I said now!" Ali shouted, trying really hard not to laugh; but whenever she was with Mike she always lost her normal stony faced expression and laughed alot. "What did I say about contact with the outside world!?" She immediately shouted when he shoved her. She couldn't hold it in anymore; she burst out laughing and rocked back and forth as Mike joined in. God, how much she liked him.
