Frank kicked the beautiful green briars and leaves angrily. He sighed and slumped against it. Another Flying class had just finished and he was confused and angry. Did Jenny really like him, or was Jimmy, Jeff and Will all just saying that so he wouldn't feel bad about not having a 'steady' girlfriend... Well, maybe it was true... Jeff got touchy when they were talking about Ali. Was he the only one that didn't date Ali in the whole Gold Group... getting off topic, he looked up and saw...

Jenny was walking down towards the hedges, blowing her bangs out of her face. She trudged down the path. Ali and Chase had reassured her that Frank had a huge crush on her, but the way that Skylar had brought it up after class on how she was thinking that Frank had a crush on her ruined her happiness. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Frank sitting against the hedge, looking glum. "Are you okay?" she asked, kneeling down by him.

..and saw Jenny. What, was fate out to get him? ! "Oh, h-hey Jenny," he said shakily, wiping his now gross sweaty palms on his black skinny jeans. Thanks god today was a non-uniform day. He watched her kneel. "You could sit if you want," sounding much more composed than he felt. Was she noticing? He ran a half-sweaty hand through his messy curls. "So...Dwight's class.... pretty insane, right?" he said, trying to make some sort of nice conversation. Awkward, awkward, awkward..

Jenny gave a shy smile as she sat down next to him. Could he tell that her heart was pounding? Oh, how she wished Ali was here to give her some guy pointers. "Y-Yeah, pretty crazy," she said, blowing her bangs our of her eyes. "So...um....anything new? I mean, the school dance is coming up soon." She gave him another smile. Why am I smiling so much? I probably look like a preppy fool with the smiles!she thought angrily. She quickly wiping her sweaty hands on her pants.

"Oh yeah.. the homecoming one," Frank said nervously.. And she's going to probably going to be asked my some hotter more brave guy, he thought sadly. "Do you have a date yet?" he asked. He immediately blushed as soon as he said it and then looked over Jenny's head to the Mansion, letting the wind cool his burning cheeks.

"N-N-No I don't. Most of the guys are into Ali and Skylar and Gracie and Maggie," she realized that he probably had a date for the dance, and cursed for making herself sound jealous of the girls. "What about you? All the girls are probably chasing you around to see if you could go with them." Immediately after she said this, she blushed furiously. Not looking at Frank, she start to study the daffodil, her favorite flower.

Blushing more than Jenny, Frank looked at the ground. "Not really. See, I can't really touch people unless I have this really strong control or someone imperviouses it. And that would require magic Ali Johnson has," he said. Duh! Ali's her best friend, moron! he though immediately. So if they did go out, Ali would just have to do that to Jenny all the time!!! "Anyway, what's new?"
Whoa bud, you're not even going out yet.

Jenny gave him a smile, and then yelled at herself for smiling again. "You know, classes and stuff. I don't really have a boyfriend or anything, so right now, I'm focusing on making sure that Ali doesn't get in trouble anymore and keeping my grades up for mom and dad." she looked into his brown eyes. "Anything new for you?" she continued to look at the flower. He wasn't even listening, she thought, most likely thinking about how hott some other girl was. She gave a small sigh, hopping he didn't notice.

"Well, yeah, keeping track of Ali must be a handful," he said, laughing a little. "Anyway, pretty flower right?" he said, looking back at her. Just like you, he almost said, but he stopped himself.

She chuckled softly with him. It was a pretty flower. "Yeah, daffodils are my favorite flower," she told him, finally meeting his gaze. Was that a look of compassion of some sort that she saw. She shook her head, thinking it was her mind playing tricks. She started to notice that the sky was turning dark, and the evening was approaching. She shivered a little, remembering that it gets cold quick on the grounds.

Frank looked at the sky and watched at Jenny shook her head violently. "Mosquito?" he asked. Then he noticed her shiver. "Cold?" he asked. He felt like the village idiot ,asking random words. He quickly pulled of one of his sweaters (he was wearing two because it was October.) that had been nearest on his body and handed it to her. "You can keep it if you want," he said softly, for some reason feeling like she should have it and that he should talk softly.

"Thanks," she replied softly, smiling at him. She smelt the sweater when she put it over her. Butterflies gathered in her stomach as she realized that he smelt like peppermint. "Um, yeah, there was a mosquito by my head before." she didn't notice that she slowly inched closer to him. "Sorry." she muttered as she scooted a little farther away from him.

Frank thought that it was cute that she smelt the sweater before putting it on. It looked liked she was eaten by a fuzzy mass and all but her head and hands were the only thing visible. "Oh," he said, referring to the mosquito. "Sorry for what?" he asked.

"I-I-I was, I dunno," Jenny wanted to smack herself in the head for talking like a bumbling idiot. "Am I talking too much? Sometimes I talk too much about nothing important. Do you like pudding?" Thank god it dark, or else Frank would notice she was blushing a crimson red. "Its dark."

"Random much?" Frank asked laughing. He noticed her face turn darker, but he didn't see the red. "yeah, puddings ok, I guess."
